iBooty without internet connection

I was wondering if iBooty is capable of booting my device without an internet connection. While at work, I have tried to install iOS5 but it seems the port needed for iTunes to connect and verify the OS is blocked. I know that iBooty requires iTunes 10+ to work, but does it also require an internet connection?
