Can someone who has jailbroken 5.0.1 check something for me?

are Alert tones a different format/extension than Ringtones?

It seems that if you load a custom ringtone - you cannot pick it as an alert (non JB phone)

anyone that could maybe take a peek at the files and see if there is a difference

Alert tones are .caf format. I'm on 5.0, not 5.0.1, but I'd bet they use the same extensions for alerts.

ok just found out that this was ALL unnecessary - it seems that m4r's work.. you just have to scroll DOWN to the ringtone section! lol - i feel dumb now
