JB 3gs stuck on loading screen

So I JB my moms 3gs with the newest limerain......it worked well for about a month and a half, went into cydia today and it said do essential upgrades so I did. Now it is stuck in the loading screen......I did the extra/reboot and it reboots shows the pineapple and everything....but gets to the loading screen and just freezes....any help would be appreciated.....i tried to plug it into her itunes to restore but it's not recognizing it.....any help would be appreciated.

What firmware number is the iPhone running?
What operating system are you using?

If iTunes did not recognize the device, uninstall iTunes completely then reinstall it.

Put the iPhone in DFU mode plugged into iTunes and then restore.
