With the introduction of OTA Updates in iOS 5, I was wondering if anyone has covered the possibility of Apple pushing "security fixes" that might disrupt jailbreakers? I've seen the question raised elsewhere, but haven't seen any real concrete answers.

I assume for a normal update, one has to agree to download it (as it was in the betas). But I wonder if somewhere in the Terms & Conditions we're not agreeing to allow Apple to push an OTA update to close what they deem holes in security? I don't really think they'd be that aggressive, but I guess I'm wondering if it's technically possible?

We're kind of in uncharted waters here... I guess we'll find out for sure if jailbreaks suddenly get hosed after an OTA event.

i had all the beta versions of ios 5.
If your phone was jailbroken you could not update over the air.
I am assuming this would be the same with stock ios 5.

cheers to all.
