DOSPAD question

I found DOSPAD on Cydia and can't figure out how to use it...I just want to play old school nintendo type games...is there a better option?

I messed with a bunch of the emulators a while back and found that none of them worked very well. There seem to be basically a deal-breaking issue with every game I tried... whether it was controls, graphics glitches, sound (or lack thereof), file size, etc... it just wasn't worth the hassle IMO.
