i especially like the "Always Show Button" option, something i hope Apple will implement in iOS 5 by the final release

    Nice find.

Installed and using with LockInfo 3.0. Doesn't work well when you hide the "Slide to Unlock" and "Always Show" in the CameraLock settings.

I like it but for some reason it does not show the camera icon but an empty black box?

I got around that by installing "No Dock Background IOS4", and "No Slide to Unlock". Now i see the arrow on the left, and the camera app on the right. Lockinfo comes through behind and between them.

Great tweak. Unfortunately it doesn't play nice with AndroidLock.

If I already use Activator to launch my camera app from the lockscreen, does this give me any added benefit, or is it just that it provides a button icon?

Edit: Just saw that it was updated to allow camera access even if the phone is passcode locked! That's the killer feature that Activator couldn't get around...off to download!

Massie, so are you saying because of this, you have eliminated your other method?

Well...I just installed it, so I'll have to see. But if it works well, I'd love to have both passcode security AND camera access from the lockscreen. I'll report back after a bit...

looks clean. an obvious issue with this tweak (when in Always Show Button mode) is the slider text is out of place, even when you select the hidden option it still appears in certain situations. i hope someone will update this thread if/when that gets fixed

also, anyone that has played around with iOS 5 will notice that when activating from sleep mode you only had to double click the home button. with this tweak you have to triple click..

Really? I thought I only double-clicked. Not sure now since I set it to always show the button at the lockscreen.

Oh I see what you mean—once to wake, twice to call up the button?

Massie, how do you get rid of the arrow slider, and still leave the camera app on lockscreen? I'm using 4.3.3. Thanks.

Just opened the slider images in photoshop and made them transparent. They're still there, you just can't see them.

There's also an option in the settings to "Hide Slider Label" but I haven't tried it since mine are already transparent.

If you select "hide slider label" in Lockinfo, it will also take away the camera app. I'll try the Photoshop. Never used it so it will be a new experience. Thanks.

Sorry, can't figure it out. Tried different Photoshops from app store. Is this done from the iPhone, or the Mac?

Sorry, on your computer. Basically you open the theme folder, find the images you want, and make them transparent. It was extra easy with typophone 4 because the slider background was already transparent.

I can see how that would bug you. I've got it set to always show the button, so didn't notice. My bigger question right now is about its battery usage...mine seems to have taken a hit. I'll keep an eye on things and report back.
