Springboard Crashing Issues

I've read thru post and done everything I can think of and my iphone4 is still crashing almost daily now. I've removed 2 current themes and 2 apps. I'm running Greenpoision's jailbreak and VZW 4.2.7.

I'm a Blackberry transplant (so happy I switched) so I do know a few behind the scene things and I've tried everything. My phone could just be sitting there and BOOM, crashes.

Is doing a complete wipe a possibility? How do I back up everything?

Everything (non-JB, that is) is backed up everytime you sync with iTunes.

Paid Cydia apps are automatically tracked in Cydia, or through the app company.

You can do a complete wipe by hitting the restore button on iTunes after you plug it in. Be warned that if you have downloaded a newer iOS version (but not installed it yet) that doing a restore may update it.

The one thing you may want to do (if you haven't already) is sync your contacts to Gmail or Outlook (you can also do this in iTunes).

Not sure if this is the problem but I always thought that Greenpois0n only jailbroke 4.2.6 and on any other iOS it becomes unstable?

Try re-jb with redsn0w? You never know, it might help.
