Thanks for posting this, BLiNK. I never thought about it, but there really is no need for the status-bar battery icon when all I need/want to know is the battery percentage.

I've known about this tweak for a while, but i kind of like the "battery icon" look. Now, if they would create an increasing & decreasing Light Saber to replace the battery icon, THAT i would be interested in.

it is starting to grow on me..

also did a little cleaning up on my statusbar with my SpringClean tweak. removed carrier name and alarm clock, even though it is still active

Why don't you make the status bar transparent, then you can show off the rest of the theme all the way to the top? Just a suggestion.

ha! i used to do that when i used winterboard; here are some examples from a while back

i used Transparent StatusBar for iOS 4
