    Default HTC Widget Help

    kinda new here so not 100% if this is the right place for this question

    so anyway

    I am running 4.3.2 jb on a 3gs and I have the htc clock widget hd on the homescreen but the background is black with thin lines on the sides, how do i add my own wallpaper behind that

    You have to put the wallpaper in the theme folder then edit the widget properties so that it reads the wallpaper file from the theme folder.

    Adding Wallpaper to HTC Widget HD using iFile

    This can entirely be performed using iFile:

    1. Copy your wallpaper into this location 'var/mobile/Library/Springboard'.

    2. Rename your wallpaper as 'HomeBackgroundPortrait.jpg'.

    3. Respring.
