I think that was known for a while but it is not untether right? Can you please pm me instructions how to do it exactly with rednow, I want to try it tonight. I didnt it previously in the past with greenposion with 4.2.6 and it was easy but that was untethered. I cant do 4.2.6 anymore because apple isnt signing that firmware and I forgot to save my shsh blobs.

You can jailbreak 4.2.7 tether with redsnow and 4.2.6.ipsw that you have to download. I didnt update yet because I am waiting for the official jailbreak for 4.2.7

I am going to try the redsnow way tonight, even though it is tethered. Was does tethered mean exactly and how does it work in this situation. I have only done the untethered solution previously with greenpoison.

go to iClarified - Apple News and Tutorials and look in Tutorials -> iPhone -> Jailbreak then select the 4.3.2 Jailbreak with Redsn0w using redsn0w is never any different it's just different versions. So the same steps should still apply except the only difference is you'll have to rerun the tool and choose "Boot tethered" everytime you reboot the phone.

got a question. Do I need to run redsnow and boot from tether each time that I want to reboot my phone. If I dont do this the phone wont boot up, correct? Am just asking because yesterday I downloaded an app on cydia and afterwards it notifyed me that I needed to reboot, when I clicked reboot it went to a black screen and then never left the screen with the apple logo.
