iphone 3g update.

i have a 3g iphone currently running on version 3.1.3. i would like to update it to the latest version available and still be able to jailbreak it and unlock it for t-mobile. would somebody please tell me how i can do this. thank you

You need it unlocked so the only tools you can use are Pwnage Tool(Mac Only) or Sn0wbreeze(Windows only) then you will have to unlock it again. I would say the best firmware for a 3G is 3.1.3 anything above iOS 4 and it becomes a steamy heap.
