Jailbroke on 4.2.1 with blank Cydia issues

My assistant is Jailbroke on i4 on 4.2.1 with Greenpois0n RC6. In Cydia, packages and changes are completely blank. When she tries to search Cydia, it comes up blank. Nothing to be found. She cant restore because it wants to load 4.3 and she doesnt have terminal(SSH). She was downloading Installous and it booted her out of Cydia without completing the download/install when this all started. Any ideas?

In Cydia, tap Changes then tap on Refresh. That should bring everything back up.

She has done that and just tried again. Did nothing. Any other ideas? Its been like this for 2 days now

She says yes... but a few weeks ago when she first JB

I am having the exact same problem. However I wasn't installing anything that I know of. It could have been after an update to various apps but didn't notice it until later if that was the case.

i believe Cydia is doing some upgrading but the fact that she hasn't seen anything in two days is not making sense..

she is going to have to restore and re-jailbreak

it talks about downgrading the firmware but it's the same process. this will allow her to restore without being forced to upgrade to 4.3

definitely. most issues are due to individuals not gathering as much info as possible before going into it..
