Iphone 4 4.0xxx unlock

Hello guys!

I need some help.

I originally purchased the iphone 4 in the us back in July with the soft. version 4.0xx it was jailbroken and unlocked. Now it has been some time and i tried to research online but i couldn't find and guide to update, unlock and jailbreak. Frankly im scared to do so because the last time i heard it wasn't possible. Would anybody know how and where if even possible it is to update? thanks a bunch

Don't update to 4.3, if that's your question. No jailbreak or unlock yet.

If you're on 4.0 then you can upgrade to 4.2 but only by using pwnage tool. It will allow you to update without updating your baseband so that you can unlock. It only works on Mac though so if you don't have a Mac PM me and I can help you out. So post up which firmware you're currently on? If you want to upgrade to 4.3 like Alli said there is no JB for that yet.

Ipheuria, dont forget that ih8sn0w released the Sn0wbreeze 2.2 or 2.1 which allows you to upgrade to fw 4.2.1 without updating your baseband either

lol thanks for adding the info I never use the Windows tools so I'm not as up to date on them.
