MyWi and Xoom

I'm trying to use mywi to connect my iPhone to my xoom. I have turned on my hotspot and my laptop can detect it but my xoom can't. I tried using bluetooth to tether but it is slow.
Any help would be appreciated.

I believe it creates an AdHoc network which from what I've read doesn't mesh with Android (that was my take anyways).

MyWi OnDemand is for iDevices only

Get an iPad, it'll work fine.

I would but Steve Jobs says if you don't like his control over the devices you purchased then go elsewhere. And I did. Just kidding my online course will require flash and the xoom will have it shortly and the ipad never will.
