Hi all,

I've been using the iPhone (2G/3G/3Gs/4) for quite some time now. Every time a new OS update comes out, I re-jailbreak and basically have been re-installing my previous cydia apps all over again.
(for example - I update to new OS --> jailbreak --> re-download everything again, I dont even bother to back up through iTunes for the reasons below)

The reason I do this stems from a couple of thing:

1. Deleted. Discussion of piracy is not condones nor tolerated. Another warning will not be given. - imuggle

2. I've done my share of research (e.g, using appbkup or found sites that gives tutorials on commands to enter on terminal) but I'm not sure which one to use and what would be the most effective.

So, is there a way to preserve app data (both from cydia apps/hacks and app store apps) so after I re-jailbreak and update my phone can go back to its prior state before the update?!

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks.
