need help with Ipad jailbreak

I have an ipad curently running ios 3.2 jailbroken. My question is: is it safe to upgrade to 4.2.1 now even though the untethered jailbreak is not out yet or should i wait?
I have my 3.2 SHSH save already anything else i should know?
I am scared that 4.2.2 might come out before the untethered jailbreak and that the jailbreak don't work on 4.2.2.

Yeah its safe... The iPad will always be able to be jailbroken, at least tethered... Nothing Apple can do about that until the iPad2 is released.
