Watch tv on Unlocked/jailbroken 3gs

Is there any way to watch tv shows n sports on the iPhone. I tried mobitv n NBA league pass but they say u can't use it on a unlocked phone. I heard of apps like itv n tv.com n stuff like that but they all suck! Any other suggestions?
