Will 4.1 JB delete my 4.0 JB apps? How to save them?

Want to do the update but wasn't sure if I would lose my current JB apps from cydia. Is there a way to save them? Thanks

instal "aptbackup" from cydia and that will do the job for you. just follow the instructions

Aptbackup will help make it less painful. Some of your settings might not backup and you will have to set them up yourself.

I dont trust the backup apps. I just take screen shots of my packages page and do it manually. Takes about 30 min, but lets me have a lot more control...

What about apps that were paid for (MyWi, Shrink, etc...). Will I be able to reinstall them without having to buy them again?

If you've paid for them, you can reinstall them to the same device anytime.

Cydia saves your info so if you purchase something once, you will always be able to reinstall it without purchasing it again even if there are updates or you go to a new device...
