Acquiring paid/downloaded apps from Cydia

I was contemplating updating my 3GS to 4.1 but am worried when I jailbreak again that I will not be able to get all my jailbroken apps back from Cydia as there is not a restore from there like that of Rock. How do i acquire all my items back?

there is an app in cydia called aptbackup, what it will do is create a list of all the apps you have from cydia, then instead of searching and downloading all of them , it will download all of them in one shot for you

If I were to select each app individually that I paid for will Cydia know that I have paid for the license and allow me to download again with out any issues?
