4.1 Jailbreak & 3g Unrestrictor no Facetime

Updated my iphone 4 with Limera1n no issues, install cydia and all my old apps but now when I try to use facetime over 3g with unrestrictor is doesn't work anymore....anyone else having this problem? I even uninstalled & reinstalled unrestrictor and still isn't working....

I'm having the same problem. I think the app needs to be updated.

It does. 3G Unrestrictor and Facebreak are both not working for 3G Facetime. We'll just have to wait for an update.

What about My3G? Does that still work with FaceTime?

From

1.Enabled the Direct Flag option on FaceTime in My3g list.

2. Turned off then on the My3g mobile substrate toggle in sbsettings, then let it respring.

3. Make sure your WiFi is on. Doesn't need to be connected to any network.

Now it's working.

Does facetime still work over normal wifi connections? Its a little late to be requesting facetime chats right now for me to check.

Facebreak works, its just u have to toggle wifi on now, even if its not connecting to anything...

Still having issues with 3g unrestrictor. I've tried all of the tips mentioned but still no luck. It appears to be working (dialing) but my wife's phone never alerts of an incoming facetime call, however, after I hang up it shows that she missed a facetime call. The same thing happens when she calls my phone. Any ideas?

Me and a buddy had the exact same issues and never figured it out.

During a call if you BOTH hit the facetime button it will work but neither person gets an alert you both just have to hit facetime.

MY3G works with facetime for me....not sure why everyone else is having problems....

So you can be on a regular call and switch it over to facetime?

If you just need it for facetime, get facebreak and never worry about anything...

I'm using 3G unrestrictor now that it's been updated, and it kind of works.

BUT I can only make facetime calls. If someone dials me then my phone never rings, but I do get the missed call like @ba04560.

But this is when I call a mac when they are using the facetime app. Haven't tried it to an iPhone, any ideas?
