Apple Iphone 3G 8GB on iOS 4.1

I want to add the wallpaper feature to my 3G i have seen videos where redsn0w can do this but every time i use it it says unable to recognize specified ipsw.
I have the latest versions of everything redsn0w and iOS just wondering what i am doing wrong.

i jsut done it but there is no phone now i cant call anyone as call icon has gone any ideas.

now you'll have to restore, no jailbreak available for 4.1... yet

how do i restore, i tried in itunes and doesnt do it.

Download the 3.1.3 restore ipsw. **** click on restore and point to the ipsw. When you get a 1015 error use either blackra1n or rec boot to kick it out of recovery mode. If you use blackra1n just click make it ra1n and once the screen turns black do a hard reboot.

OK restored it work OK, just wondering there there a way of changing background for home screen on 3g without jail breaking it.
