Just got 174 MB's available memory on SBSettings

Thats the highest I've ever reached. Usually after I free memory it stays in the 145 to 162 MB range with nothing opened. Anybody got anything higher or something this high before

i usually have around 250-300 Megabytes free. I also have "Remove BG" installed and every so often I use it to quit out of all background apps except those that I added to the exemption list.

Thanks for the info. I always had a low Memory number. What apps do you usually keep on your exemption list.

If you're on a Iphone4 thats bad. If your on a 3GS thats awesome. Hope that helps

3gs here w/ 4.0 jb. After I free memory, my highs are between 163-168mb. Never seen anything above 169mb. I sometimes regret keeping the available mb in the statues bar. It drives me crazy.

My wifes ip4 gets roughly 340mb with nothing in the switcher

3G 8GB JB 4.0.1... I run a small command line I found online "iPhone VM". Generally had around 25 to 28 MB of memory. Since using "VM" I can run 2 - 3 App's and showing between 85 -94 MB. Being a 3G I think is Fantastic. Haven't found any other way to increase that, but I'm happy... for now

I think its time for a newer phone. Even on my 3GS I wished I had the Iphone4 type space

It's not that important. Besides, I'm still havin' too much fun with my buddies that don't have an iPhone or aren't JB and the see what I can do with mine... LOL
