I got my iphone 2g a year or two ago, and It's served me well, I had my brother update it to 3.0 at one point, it worked fine for a bit, but then, for some reason, all icons vanished, my brother fixed it, but not after promising he'd never update it again. I'm not sure if this is some sort of terror tactic, so I decided to come to you guys.
I really want to update my phone to 3.2, why? Because I want to read books
But I'm worried, is it safe? I mean, it's jailbroken, and la-dee-da, but my brother also deleted my Cydia app, somehow. So I don't even know how to use that.
But what I was wondering is: How do I update my iphone to 3.2, safely?
I know this is a horribly composed post, but I'm not too bright when it comes to iphones. Thanks in advance for any help you give me
PS: My memory is fuzzy, but won't 3.2 slow my 2g down?
