Syncing Deletes My Installous Apps

I have read this blog for a while now but just decided to register for some help from you guys. My iPhone 4 is jailbroken and when I try to sync to add music, videos, etc. iTunes removes any apps downloaded through Installous. I thought when I unchecked "sync apps" in iTunes this would fix it and iTunes would ignore that step in the sync process. But instead when I uncheck it, iTunes asks if I'm sure I want to delete all those apps. Any suggestions?

PS I have App Sync 4.0.1
