Home button on iOS4

I upgraded my 3gs from 3.1.3 to 4.01. When I double click the home button it goes to my favorites and I can't find a way to change it to the multi-task like on a IP4. Can anyone tell me either how to change the way the home button works or hoem to see the multi-task window.

Are you sure you're on 4.0.1? There is no way to not go to the fast-app switch on 4.0.1.

on my about screen the version is 4.0.1 (8A306).

That's really bizarre. Maybe someone else has a suggestion, cause the only thing I can think of is to do a restore.

Was your 3GS jailbroken before you updated to 4.0.1?

Did you restore from a backup?

I know this sounds dumb, but are you sure it's a 3GS and not a 3G model? The 3G didn't get multitasking.

As suggested already, do a restore and if that doesn't fix it then it would seem to my like you have a 3G and not a 3GS....

Do you have Intellidial installed? If so go to your Intellidial app and turn off favorites launch.

mg48 thanks alot, yes I have Intellidial and that was it. To answer the other questions, yes it was Jailbroken before on 3.1.3.
