SMS and Themes help

I've been reading up here since I jailbroke and I figured out how to replace my sms tones with custom tones using ssh.

It worked fine, my problem came when I installed a new theme and the theme replaced my sms ringtones. My tones will come back, though, when I take away that theme on winterboard. Is there a way to keep the rest of the theme, but revert back to the custom sms tones that I installed myself?

One last question: if I try to use a dialer or battery theme with winterboard and it doesn't work, is this likely because it isn't compatible with ios4? If there's something I can do to make them work, please let me know.

If u dl and install a complete them from cydia, some come with their own custom sounds and override whichever ringtone u may have enabled. U can ssh ur custom tone into the themes sounds folder and that should keep ur tone with that them. And yes, NOT all themes are compatible with 4.0 yet, so some may not work. Hope this helps
