Anyone know if the unlock the iPhone 4 will allow 3G with tmobile? Or still only edge? N also picturing texting.......n other features I experienced losing when I unlocked my 3GS for t mobile.

No 3G with T-Mo. It has nothing to do with the unlock and everything to do with the radio and the bands that T-Mo uses here in the US.

I was wondering if someone had the answer to this question from first-hand experience? I know that the UMTS bands listed by Apple do not include the one for T-Mobile USA, but Apple did ask the FCC to keep the actual information confidential. I was just wondering if this band might have been the big secret.

T-Mobile uses the AWS bands (1700 and 2100) for their 3G service. Their 3G phones have a totally different radio setup from AT&T. Can't ultrasn0w your way around that, unfortunately.
