jailbreakme.com + 3GS => 3G radio dead?

Since the jailbreakme.com jailbreak, 3G radio on an iPhone 3GS won't work any more - gives a "no signal" all the time. Switching off 3G will fix that.

Anyone else experienced that?

It is currently known that this particular jailbreak causes such anomalies with 3G and also FaceTime as well as MMS. Personally, I'm waiting until there is a more stable release before I take the Cydia plunge again.

Hi! I had this problem today too and I tried all kinds of thing (Airplane mode, disabling 3g, taking off and turning on mobile data etc.) until I switch Automatic to my specific carrier in Settings -> Carrier. After that I had a working data connection again. Was pretty freaky to lose it like that..

I would stay away from that jailbreak. A lot of reports of major problems after using it.

there is? besides mms and facetime? Do tell or just a generic statement?

Seems like most of the people having problems have the 3G or 3GS. I have the iPhone 4 and after jailbreaking, it's 100% perfect...everything works, no issues at all.
