iPod 4.0 3rd gen jailbreak?

I got a third generation iPod touch and it has the 4.0 firmware on it. I was just wondering if it was possible to jailbreak it. And if there is no way to jailbreak it, could you downgrade an older firmware to make it possible to jailbreak?
