Newbie question about selling a unlocked phone!

So I'm currently selling a iPhone 3G and know it's worth more if it's Jailbroken and Unlocked.

I don't want to screw the customer, and want to make sure I did everything properly.

I followed this tutorial to Jailbreak and Unlock it:

I couldn't get this repo to work though, and wanted to make sure it wasn't necessary (since I didn't see it on another unlock tutorial):

I have both redsn0w and ultrasn0w downloaded and installed on the phone.

Is this all I need to do to allow the phone to work with any GSM sim card worldwide?

As far as i know from my phone ultrasnow is enough and will do the work (unlock)

I had jailbroken my phone before, but it seemed like such an easy step to unlock it, that I wasn't sure I did it fully.
