MyWi Tethering via Bluetooth

Anyone else having and issue getting their laptop or pc's to connect via bluetooth to tether? I am running VISTA on my laptop, I can tether fine via USB or via MyWi's wifi hotspot method. But what I really want is bluetooth tethering, but every time i connect it always fails. I dont mind using the USB method, but w/ BT I can still keep my phone in my bag while wokring on my laptop.

I haven't tried BT since WiFi is faster. You can leave your phone in your bag with the WiFi connect.

I've tried that but it seems to drop every so often for some reason!.....

Hmmm guess I'll stick with USB tethering

Have you added the app Insomnia? This will keep wifi on even when the phone goes to sleep. In reading the info about MyFi, it does state something like the app keeps the connection open. But, if I remember correctly, I still had it drop occasionally as well until I added Insomnia. Before I launch MyFi, I toggle on Insomnia through SBSettings. I don't think I've had a dropped connection since.
