What the hell is a "Cydget"? And how do I use it?
Exactly as the post says!
I've been noticing a lot of "Cydget" posts in Cydia recently, but there was no apparent "parent" application to install, so that the 'Cydget' extentions would work.
Example: To get a theme to work, you need WiNterboard.
Question: To get a Cydget to work, I'd need ____________????
Please fill in the blank.

You can download a ton of things to work with Cydget . Cydget is the blank . Cydget let you put things on your lockscreen like all the HTC looking stuff , just search for Cydget and you about 2 dozen apps , the facebook and HTC Hero are great , they take alot of memory & battery I think .

Search Cydia for Cydget. It's about the 4th thing down. It's necessary for all the apps built on Cydget. It's basically a framework for a lockscreen, when you press the home button to cycle through all your Cydgets.
Depending on how the Cydget is written will determine the amount of memory it consumes, but in general they are not battery drainers as they only run on the lockscreen.
