Geohot done it Again, after the Succesfull release of blackra1n for Windows now he released the new version of Blackra1n for MAC users, which help them to Jailbreak iPhone 3G 3GS 3.1.2 on Mac OS X. So, what is blackra1n? blackra1n is a 30 second ALL device 3.1.2 jailbreak. Even the ipt3, but the ipt3 is tethered. In order to boot it, just rerun blackra1n.

Do not jailbreak. You will screw your phone up. Apple has started shipping out new phones that block the exploit which allows jailbreaking.

If I do the blackra1n for MAC, can I go back if i need to take my phone in to ATT or Apple for some reason? I really want to give this a try but I am nervous. I have a 3gs that I purchased about a month ago. It is running 3.1.2 and has the most current baseband which I know takes away any unlocking at this point. Unlocking is not a desire, just the jailbreak which would allow me to run my slingbox over 3g. Thanks for any advise!
