Replaceing 3g home button

I got a 3g and i replaced the glass but some how the home buttons lil cable piece broke in half so the home button wont work so i took it apart again to see how easy of a fix it will be it looks like the home button accembly is only stuck to the frome of the phone and when u place the frame back on the home button has two metal prongs that touch two tabs on the mother board area.So i ordered the home button assembly and im asumeing it will be as easy as it was to take it off If im wrong on this please let me know if anyone has done it

well yes i just want to know if i am correct when i say i should only have to pull to broken one off and then stick the new assembly on and reassemble the iphone

someone must have done this repair or knows a link to a tutorial or video on it..
