Tethering

Is there anyone that is tethering on a 3GS with the latest OS installed 3.1, without the 3GS being jailbroke. All the lates updates and firmwares are installed. I used to be jailbroke but had to update due to some issues.

Oh yeah I'm in the U.S. On AT&T of course

AT&T has not released tethering in the US, so if you aren't jailbroken, you won't be able to tether.

Anybody try this yet I just watched it on Utube and it looks real easy. Maybe to good to be true. help.BenM.at

Once open just scroll down to mobileconfigs click download and follow the steps. Want to see if anyone has tried this and what there luck was once done.

Currently it's unavailable on the newest OS. From what I read though it will be available this comin Sunday. We shall see though.

Yeah I see that now it's only for 3.0 not 3.1.

i have a 3gs and use the benm/help tethering profile and it works great exept most of the time i dont get calls and it drops the tether if i call someone but i am also running on 3.0.1 and do not c the need to update yet the features arent worth it to me of course i run on windows so....no redsnow for 3.1 no jb for me
