Cydia crashes

Hi,

Yesterday i degraded my iphone 3g from 3.1 to 3.0 and jailbroked it using Redsn0w 08. I opend cydia and when i selected search tab it closed and went to spring board. it keeps closing for each selecionof tabs.

right now i dont have wifi connection set up

Is it because i dont have a wifi connection??

that happened to me yesterday...as soon as i erased the last thing i dl it was fixed....

i honestly dont think it has anything to do with a wifi connection....but i'm still fairly new to this....

well i went to icy and i deleted the last thing i downloaded it which it was a ringtone and as soon as i did it cydia started opening again....
