Cydia Database Error

Here is my problem. I do not know if this is a problem with Cydia or with me.
I want to ask before I go though the hassle of restoring my phone
My phone was working fine until this morning when I tried to update some things on Cydia.
All of my packages and sources are gone and I get this error:

I read where I should ssh and delete some files (private/var/lib/apt/lists except for the partial folder).

Nothing happened, I still have no packages or sources.

Same thing happen to me about 5 days ago. I am no longer jailbroke and I'm in 3.1. Yes I had to restore, damn, damn, damn!! Good luck to you.

Yeah, I had to restore the phone, all is good for now ...
Oh Well, guess that is life in the big city...lol
