So I jailbroke my iphone and added VLC player...now how do I ADD .avi/.mpeg movies?

Plenty of documentation on how to get videos recorded on an iphone OUT, but none on how to get them in, except for itunes. Now that I have vlc player I want to skip the conversion process and add different videos formats directly, but can't find anything on the net documenting it...is it something so obvious people don't even talk about it?

i used that to move my avi into my iphone to play it on vlc..

when i open ifunbox i just create a folder in the camera folder called vidoes and put my tv series or movies in there..

How is the quality when watching Divx on the iPhone with VLC??

iFile also works to upload files to the iPhone.

VLC on the iPhone on seems to only play in vertical mode, and does not give a bigger video image when phone is turned sideways. I've used VLC to play AVI and DIVX files so far.
