pls help me " when i open cydia ...... "

hello guys

well pls help me anyone about this problem ....

i have upgrade the cydia.. now when i open the cydia now it give me this error msg which is as below...

" ERROR : REFRESHING DATA
The method Driver
/usr/lib/apt/methods/HTTP
could not be found. "

now from this error im not b able to load any more sources nor even my cydia get new changes... so pls guys help me in this .... if there is any kind of file got delete or missing let me know the source so i will try to get it back.

and pls dont tell me to jailbreak it again ... coz i just have done it ..

Download and install ifile, just ignore the reloading
then start ifile and go to the root map: /
then to the map: /usr
next: /usr/lib/
then: /usr/lib/apt
go to /usr/lib/apt/methods and you'll see a file called http
copy that and paste it it same directiory and say rename
then push the button next to http (1). en select the name and delete the whole name and type in HTTP with capitals (your case you can have error saying Http then only type the H in capital) and do it for all the error's
restart cydia and won't get the error again

or...just use Rock app. no issues with it. i was getting Cydia load errors also. go into blackrain app on iphone, select Rock, install. done

So i spose u are running a firmware version lower than 3.1.2... correct?
If u are then u should upgrade to 3.1.2 then re-jailbreak ur iPhone with Blackra1n. It is very ez, and by ez i mean a push of one button then ur done.
Seriously! Then after u have finished jailbreaking with Blackra1n u can install either Cydia, Icy, or Rock.

Cydia is a nice installer, Icy suux from wat i heard, Rock is the new Cydia with a much smoother and faster UI. (user interface)

Hie there.... Im having the same problem above, tried the iFile method but still getting the error. Earlier it says...."Error refreshing data....lib/apt/Http"
After i change the root name to "Http" from the original "http", now it says "Error refr....lib/apt/http" instead...

Did i miss any important steps or anything like that could cause this?
Pls advise
