Jailbroken 3GS- Update to 3.0.1?

Hi guys, I am sure this must have been discussed ad nauseum on here, yet I can't find it when searching. I have an original 3GS that I jailbroke using PurpleRa1n. What happens if I install the update through ITunes of 3.0.1? Do I need to re-jailbreak? Do I lose all my cydia apps? Sorry to post this, but I just don't know what to do and can't search "3.0.1" on here.

Yes anytime you update you will have to jailbreak again.
