Weird Issue When Closing Apps

I just jailbroke my iphone 3g s using redsn0w 0.8 for mac. Somehow, when I close a program that's not full screen (meaning you can still see the time and at&t signal at the top) that top toolbar disappears. When I open an app that is full screen like tetris and then close it again, the top toolbar comes back. Is there anyway to fix this?

I was having the exact same problem with my 3g jailbroken. I had installed a theme and while that theme was installed on my phone, i was having that same problem. I swithced themes and the problem went away. So it might be that for you also if you have a theme installed. If not then im not sure.
