3.0.1 With Purplera1n

I updated to 3.0.1 just now after long procratination of having to redo many of my themes. I was told any 3.0 JB worked for 3.0.1? Because now it is stuck of the guys picture, and it says done please wait. I might try to restore then do it again... but aghhhh.... What should I do?

You can't use purplera1n with 3.0.1 you have to use redsn0w. That's your problem. Make sure you dl the 3.0 ipsw before using redsn0w though.

Dl and install redsn0w, along with the 3.0 ipsw for your iPhone (3g ipsw is different than 3gs so be careful) upgrade to 3.0.1 then run redsn0w n it'll ask u to point to ur firmware, point to the 3.0 ipsw and bam you are good to go

So I have a 3Gs, which came with 3.0, thus I never upgraded and don't have the 3.0 ipsw files on my computer. The only ones I see out there for download are the 3G 3.0 ipsw files. Any suggestions?
