Problem running app store native apps

I jailbroke my iphone about 2 months ago and have so far had no problems running anything. Yesterday, however, when i tried to run any app store native apps such as facebook and aim they would not start up. All iphone native apps such as safari and ipod work and any cydia apps that i install work. Is this a commonly occurring problem and how should I fix it?

I'd try a re-install of the app, just delete from your iPhone, connect to iTunes and re-sync the deleted app. If that works, I'd do it for all of them.

There shouldn't be any problem with running official apps from the appstore. I know Skype gave me a warning earlier on about running on modified phones, but it's working fine for me even after that, so you should be good to go.

Download and install a free app. Open the newly downloaded app and you should be good to go.
