Please Help Me..ASAP!!!

I have a problem, I have looked all over but could not
find a solution posted, sorry if I missed it...
I am trying to unlock/jailbreak a G3 OS 3.0 with redsn0w 0.8
It stops after uploads the 'Second Stage', then Waiting For Reboot,
the phone does not, I then have to Restore.
What is wrong or what am I doing wrong..
Please help me, this is my daughter's phone....
