Baseband 05.10.01 - how to downgrade?

Hi,

I have an iPhone 3GS and got the OS 3.1b2 installed several days ago.
Now I know this was a baaaad decision since it upgraded the baseband to 05.10.01.
I was successfully able to downgrade the iPhone back to OS 3.0 and it's now jailbroken with redsn0w. Of course I tried Fuzzyband 3.1b1 for downgrading the baseband but it's not possible. Anyway... My opinion is that when I can upgrade firwmware than there is a way to downgrade it.

I'm thinking about trying to install the iPhone OS 3.0b5 for the 3G on my 3GS because I know that the Beta 5 came with baseband 04.26.08 and hoping it might overwrite it. And than install iPhone OS 3.0 and jailbreak it again. I do have access to a 2nd iPhone 3GS with baseband 04.26.08. I don't know but maybe this could be helpful?

If someone of can give some positive and helpful input, that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 3GS phone and by accident I upgraded its firmware to 3.1 and now even I tried many things I could not manage to downgrade it to 3.0. Can you please Help me?

I don't think you're going to find a way to downgrade the baseband, but best of luck, and remember to post your results

about a week after a new firmware comes out, you can kiss the chance of getting one without the new firmware on it goodbye.

there is no way to downgrade the baseband as of yet, so you're stuck.
