3GS won't turn on after installing winterboard

I know that winterboard isn't supposed to work, but I thought i'd try it anyway, cydia said reboot device, now it stays on the screen with the apple logo.
I'm just downloading the 3.0 software again so I can restore.
I shat myself, I thought I had bricked my phone xD

Anyways, is there a way to use my phone again or am I going to have to restore?

I think you're gonna have to do a DFU mode restore. My 3GS did the same thing when I tried installing winterboard. I'm pretty sure iTunes didn't see my iPhone in this state, which is why I had to put it in DFU.

Moral of this story... if you know it's not going to work... don't install it.
