3G can't tap numbers or hang up

Hello,

I jailbroke my 3G so I could use iPhone Recorder and WinterBoard. Sorry if the following has come up here before, I'm new to this. Everything was going fine until I had to call someone and realized I couldn't tap numbers. I can only make calls from my contacts list. Also, when on the phone, I have no screen for speaker, hold, etc. The only way to end a call is to power off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
