Successful jailbreaking but can't open the phone

Hi, anybody experienced what happened to my iPhone 3G? After successfully jailbroken, can't initialized and open my phone, only the APPLE logo appeared and remained at the center. Tried to reset several times but to no avail. Also tried and successfully rejailbreaking a couple of times but problem still exist.
My OS is 2.2.1, thanks and regards.

I would try it again and make sure you back up before post back if it does not work again.

Put the device back into DFU mode. Connect it to iTunes and restore to factory settings. What platform are you trying to jail break (PC or Mac?) What version of iTunes do you have?

After that if you try to re-jailbreak your iPhone again try using Mozilla Firefox for your downloads, I tried to break my phone a few times and when I used Mozilla it finally worked.

There is no version of jailbreak tools that work with iTunes 8.2

The only way to do a 2.2.1 jailbreak, with iTunes 8.2, is to download a custom 2.2.1 firmware image and do a shift-click restore. You can find a custom 2.2.1 jailbroken firmware by searching popular bit torrent websites for "iphone 2.2.1 fusion custom". Google might even be a good place to do that search.
