why wont my turbo sim worke after jailbreaking 2.2

hi. i just put the os 2.2 onto my iphone 3g using this jailbreak method. everything works fine although there is no signal, all it says is no sevice. does the turbo sim no longer work with the jailobroke version of 2.2? whats the solution to getting service onto my phone again. im using t mobile.
