I am very new to iPhone nation. So far so good.

I am interested in jailbreaking my 3G but I wanted to get clarification on a few things.

I already upgraded to version 2.2 using iTunes:

- Can I still jailbreak? (From what I know I need to use PwnageTools, which is not a big deal)

- Will I be able to jailbreak in the future when new software versions come out? Or, does the fact that I upgraded the baseband kind of screw me up?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

If you don't care about unlocking your device in the future you are fine. By upgrading to the latest firmware already you've already updated the baseband so unlocking is no longer a option. You can jailbreak by using the latest Quickpwn.

I get it now. Unlocking means using any SIM. Jailbreaking means using non-Apple certified apps.

If I use QuickPwn, will I be able to upgrade to new Jailbroken versions?

Sure, to get rid of a jailbreak simply restore as a new iPhone via iTunes. That's all there is to it.

And to be more clear, when a new firmware comes out feel free to update and then you will have to re-jailbreak with the latest Quickpwn software out.
